I began writing as soon as I could hold a crayon. One of my first stories was It Came Floating Up, a “novel” about a sea monster lurking in the sargasso seaweed off the coast of Corpus Christi, Texas.

In junior high, I would write serial installments in romance novellas that my friends would ask for each week. Angst ‘cause it’s hot, right?
Finally, I found my sweet spot in psychological thrillers. I also love a good murder mystery or ghost story from time to time, too.
